Prom 2020, "The Roaring 2020s," will be held Saturday, April 18th from 8pm to 11pm at GSU.  Everyone attending must complete and return a signed prom contract in order to purchase a ticket or attend.  Tickets may be purchased from Mrs. Creasy in the guidance office January 29th-31st.  Pick up an information sheet and contract from the guidance office or outside Mrs. Wright's room (224), the school website or your school email for more details!

HOSA will be visiting Westwood Nursing Center on Thursday, Feb. 13 to paint/decorate wooden Valentine's with the residents. We will leave at 2:00 PM; members will need money for Dairy Queen social afterwards. 

HOSA members who are interested in working at SEBMS baseball Diamond Days tournament on Feb. 28-29th need to see a HOSA Officer or Mrs. Pye to sign up.

Senior Beta members, be sure to check your email for information regarding the Senior Project. This is a requirement to receive your cord for graduation. The form is due Friday, 1/24

Anyone interested in running Girls or Boys Track this year needs to see Coach Latimer in the Gym before Monday Jan 27.  Track tryouts are Monday - Thursday next week.  Jan 27, - Jan 30.   

Bulloch County Farm Bureau is sponsoring the 2020 High School Art Contest.  Students can pick up a flyer from the media center with all the details and entry form.  The information can also be found on our school web page.

The Buzz in Café will be selling muffins, sausage biscuit, breakfast burritos, pop tarts, candy bars and other candy today.

JCB--who manufactures construction equipment--will hold their annual Career Fair on Friday, February 27 from 8:30 to 1:00 on their campus in Pooler. Any senior interested in attending needs to see Mr. Powell in Room 104 this week.

Game Changers will meet Monday, Jan 27 immediately after school in Ms. Haaf's room.

Any boys or girls interested in playing golf this year, especially returning players from last season...there is a mandatory meeting Thursday, Jan. 30 in Coach Oliver's Room, 219 at 3:00!  Again, anyone interested in joining the golf team must attend this meeting or see Coach Oliver ahead of this date if you cannot attend.

Puerto Rico needs our help! Since December 28, Puerto Rico has been struck by more than 500 earthquakes with a magnitude of 2 or greater. The biggest was a 6.4 magnitude quake. SEB has been asked to donate toiletry items-toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, body wash, and deodorant for the Hurricane victims. Game Changers and Ms. Haaf’s Spanish 2 classes will be collecting these items through the end of January. A local team will travel to Puerto Rico to deliver them to the southern part of the island. See Ms. Haaf in room 217 if you have questions. Thanks in advance for your participation.

The Miss SEBHS pageant will be held on Saturday, February 29th.  Applications are located in the guidance office, and the deadline for applications will be Tuesday, February 11th.  Please contact Lauren Saxon at the middle school for more information about the pageant.

The Horticulture class is selling Flower Grams for Valentine's Day! Several options are available and flowers will be delivered during 4th block on February 14th. Pick up an order form from Mrs. Elrick 
(Rm. 102)!

HOSA State Leadership Conference and Competitive Events will be held in Atlanta, GA on March 5 - 7. Permission forms and fees are due on Friday, January 24.

FCCLA will be going to Atlanta to visit the Capital and the Georgia Aquarium on Wed, Feb. 12; the cost is $40. See Mrs. Lovett for permission forms.  The deadline to turn in your forms is Feb. 7th.
