In recognition of Red Ribbon Week, we will be sharing some facts that will hopefully help you make healthier choices. The theme for this year is “Send a message. Stay drug free.” This theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. The theme is also a reminder that by staying drug free, you are sending a message to yourself and others about how much you value yourself, your overall health, your community and your future. Today we will focus on the dangers of e-cigarettes and vaping!  Did you know that e-cigarettes or vaping isn’t just water vapor or flavors? Virtually all e-cigarettes contain nicotine—even the ones labeled "nicotine free." This is because there are no rules about how e-cigarettes or "e-juice" are made. There is no way to know exactly what is in an e-cigarette.  Additionally, the Georgia Department of Public Health has identified the state’s second death from a vaping-associated illness. Send a message. Stay drug free at SEBHS.

In observance of National Bullying Prevention Month, we will continue to combat bullying at SEBHS this week by spreading kindness through our weekly challenges! Do you remember any of the challenges from Week 1?
Make friends with someone you don’t know at school!
Give someone a compliment such as “I like your outfit!”
Invite someone you don’t know well to sit next to you in class or on the bus.

Please continue to participate in our previous acts of kindness and add the following new challenges to your list for this week:
